2020 Guangzhou Marathon Registration Notice  for Public Welfare Entry and Charity Entry

2020 Guangzhou Marathon will offer 300 guaranteed entries to the Public Welfare and Charity Programme. All the entry fee will be donated to Guangzhou Marathon Society Contributing Programme. 

Information of the Public Welfare Entry and Charity Entry is as follows:

1. Registration Period

12 p.m. at November 12th, 2020

2. Entry Quota

Marathon: 200 places for Public Welfare Run, 100 places for Charity Run;

3. Qualification

The application will only open to applicants who did not win the lottery on 2020 Guangzhou Marathon. Applicants should meet all requirements and qualifications of the 2020 Guangzhou Marathon Registration Notice. 

4. Registration Fee：

2000RMB / Person. First come, first served.

5. Payment Methods: Alipay 

6. Registration Method: Log on the Guangzhou Marathon official website www.guangzhou-marathon.com and follow the instructions online.

7. Purpose of the Programme

1) All the entry fee of Public Welfare places will be donated to Guangzhou Marathon Society Contributing Programme for future community charity projects such as social care actions, the national fitness events, promotions of public welfare and sports culture;

2) All the entry fee of Charity places will be donated to Love ·Guangzhou Marathon Charitable Fund, found by Guangzhou Charity Association, to support poverty students, strengthen the Infrastructure Construction of schools in distressed areas, purchase basic sporting facilities, and fund students with PE specialty, etc.

8. Perks for Public Welfare and Charity Runners

1) Honor Certificate of 2020 Guangzhou Marathon Public Welfare runners and Charity runners (paper version);

2) Superior package pick-up access in 2020 Guangzhou Marathon Expo.
